Description
GeForce RTX™ 3050 EAGLE OC 8G
With its asking price of $249 / £239, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3050 Eagle OC is currently bit of a mystery in the world of video cards. Despite the hoopla around this product, I’ll be the first to admit that, technically speaking, it’s not likely to rank among the top graphics cards for gaming. It does, however, brilliantly accomplish its 1080p60 objective in the appropriate circumstances.
The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3050 Eagle OC has a substantially narrower memory bandwidth than any other RTX 20- or 30-series GPU to date, which is the main constraint on what it can achieve. The RTX 2060 has a 192-bit memory bus, which essentially enables the GPU to achieve greater frame rates and more reliably function as a whole, despite the RTX 3050 using 8GB GDDR6 memory as opposed to the former’s 6GB. As a result, the RTX 3050 effectively outperforms the GTX 1660 Ti while gaining access to ray tracing and DLSS.
