Samsung C27 JG50 Curved WQHD 144Hz Gaming Monitor C27JG50QQM- 4MS, The Samsung JG50 is a good 1440p display. It boasts a fast refresh rate and extremely low input lag, making it ideal for gaming. The VA panel produces deep blacks, can reach bright enough for most spaces, and reflections are greatly minimised, so utilising it in a bright room should be no problem. Unfortunately, none of the variable refresh rate technologies are supported by this monitor, thus the image suffers when seen at an angle. It also has poor black uniformity and a fixed stand, making it impossible to move the monitor in the best viewing position.
Samsung C27 JG50 Curved WQHD 144Hz:
Mostly, the Samsung JG50 is adequate. It boasts a large screen with plenty of room for multitasking. There is extremely little input lag and the response time is quick, making it ideal for gaming or multimedia, although it lacks advanced gaming features such as variable refresh rate technology. This monitor does not support HDR.
- Dark blacks
- Input lag is low, and response time is quick.
The stand is fairly similar to the one on the Samsung CHG70, although it has a glossy texture that attracts fingerprints more easily.
The monitor’s back is quite plain. The entire stand can be removed, which is ideal for VESA mounting, however there is no quick release, The borders are really sleek and narrow, and they don’t draw attention to themselves.
The Samsung CJG50 seems thicker from the side than typical monitors due to the curvature of the screen. It stands out when VESA mounted.
The Samsung LC27JG50QQNZA has good build quality, which is better than the Samsung CF398 but significantly poorer than the Samsung UE590. Because the tilt is so tight, it’s difficult to adjust the stand. It does, however, feel solid, and there are no clear flaws.
Samsung C27 JG50 Curved WQHD 144Hz:
The Samsung CJG50 has a fast response time and produces smooth motion with a small blur trail behind fast-moving objects. The 0-20 percent transition, like the Samsung CHG70, is much slower than the others, thus some ghosting may emerge in really dark scenes.
There are several response time options available. There isn’t much of a difference between them, which is unusual and unexpected, but we do not know why. We prefer the ‘Response Time Fastest’ setting because there is no overshoot and the differences are minimal.
